Women’s Employability and Business Skills

Duration: minimum 3 days full time

Overview

Many people hold stereotypical views about women’s role in society and in the workplace and it’s time to start challenging and changing those views.  Women have arrived in the workplace, but it is a workplace still dominated by men and it’s often hard to know the best route forward when there are few role models to look to.  Women need to work together and learn from each other in order to continue to push back barriers and realise their full potential.

In a competitive marketplace we need to ensure that women have the key commercial skills required by an employer and that they are able to communicate those skills when applying for a role or seeking a promotion.

Benefits of the course:

By attending this course participants will gain a higher level of personal awareness and will more clearly understand what makes them “tick” and what they can do to bring out the best in themselves and others.  They will develop a clear understanding of commerciality in the workplace and how they can add value to any organisation by problem solving and improving current processes and procedures.  Participants will also become more adept at prioritising their time and delivering professional business presentations.
