Health and Safety

Introduction:

Dangers arising from work are unwanted and unintended by-products. Most people are concerned with the minimisation or elimination of danger associated with work. The reality is that over 200 people lose their lives due to work-related accidents in the UK.

In addition around 150,000 non-fatal injuries are reported each year.  In Europe, the number is a lot higher than this and in the developing countries the number is even higher.
