”Teaching students with EBD and SEN” is a well tested, made to measure and engaging course that will focus on self reflection and acquiring tools enabling further professional development. It will also provide an insight in the complicated and diverse world of Special Educational Needs as well as provide guidelines to design such an educational environment that will pass any inspection by governing bodies. 1- Conduct and Practices
Focus on creating the correct environment and making the best of our available tools and own personal qualities.

2- Behaviour Management
What constitutes challenging behaviour and how can we deal with it. Focus will be on understanding how we can prevent this kind of behaviour and how to turn it around.

3- Social Pedagogy
Will provide an insight in alternative pedagogical approaches and enhance understanding of pioneers like Montessori, Hahn, Steiner and Kolb.

4- SEN
Get an understanding of what SEN means and how to set up an effective working environment that will make teachers and students achieve and enjoy.

5- Quality Assurance
Understand what is needed to prepare best for an inspection by any government body.

  • Lesson planning, preparation, enjoyment and outcomes will improve.
